my foray into felting

I recently tried felting a scarf, and although that didn't turn out too well, (no photo available), I loved the whole trip so here are some of my other projects so far.

I'm really feeling the "fall in the air", and it's really been my inspiration in the studio.

There's been a chill in the air, (after a long and wonderful Indian Summer), and that's put me in the mood for something soft, fuzzy, and warm!

the naturals

braided cotton cord intertwined with natural stones of turquoise, jade, coral and copper.

metal ages

crocheted metal mesh embellished with stones of carnelian, turquoise, and jade. sophisticated and funky at the same time.

beaded bracelets

twigs and berries

knotted leather cord with wire wrapped glass or pearl beads. can be wrapped around the neck or left to hang long or wrapped many times around the wrist.

fishing nets

using fine crochet cotton or silk and various types of semi-precious stone chips I've created a line of necklaces and bracelets reminiscent of the fishing nets used in days gone by.
